A new artery that connects the Retro Station to via Milano

SARONNO - After connecting the burial piece of Escrivá to via Luini, mayor Alessandro Fagioli and his administration dream of the realization of an artery running parallel to via Varese linking the Retrostazione to via Milano.

The first citizen was very clear about the importance of this link: "One of the initiatives my Administration wants to undertake is to start contacts with all parties involved in the resettlement of the subfund, so Ferrovienord, former Lesa and real estate owners Of the nearby abandoned areas ".

In essence, the new artery would get to the maxi roundabout, with the center of the great cedar that the municipality plans to build between Escrivá, via Ferrari, and via Luini, through all the abandoned areas known as former Isotta Fraschini, crossing the former Lesa complex Then "get out" in via Milano close to the entrance of the major cemetery.

A completely new artery that would allow to divert from the direct traffic to the railway line the most used Varese street, which would be used especially by those who need to cross the east of the city from north to south and vice versa. A road-based intervention that was in the projects of previous administrations, but that has never materialized even because of the difficulty of finding an agreement between public and private interests. Something about the recovery of the dismantled maxi area between the station, Via Varese and Milan is moving in the last few weeks. Suffice to cite part of the failure of the former Isi by a new operator. Technicians and shrapnel have already begun to secure the places, and mayor Alessandro Fagioli guaranteed the maximum commitment and speed in contacting the property.
